Dan Lochridge has coached in the Academy for four years and he will now lead the program as the Director. He is the boys’ soccer coach and a Spanish teacher at Sentinel High School. He currently holds a national D coaching license and was selected the Montana Boys AA High School Coach of the year for 2015. He also has three daughters that play for the club. He has been playing soccer since he was five years old, and he loves to share his enthusiasm for the game with the young people he coaches.
Tri Pham – I was raised in Missoula and had a tremendous experience playing soccer in the Strikers program. I went on to play college soccer at Pacific Lutheran University. I have a national B license which I’ve had since 1997. I have experience coaching players from 5 years old to college age players. Currently, I have daughters playing Microstrikers and one in the Academy.
Aric Thorne-Thomsen is a certified personal trainer and physical therapist. He has 35 years of soccer experience both as a player and a coach. He has been a dedicated MicroStrikers coach for the last five years, and this is his second year coaching in the Academy. Aric brings a positive attitude and a ton of knowledge to the program, and also just recently received his “E” coaching license. Aric and his wife have two children, one of which still plays in the academy program.
Lily Haines grew up playing in the club and ODP teams of western Montana and played for the Lady Griz from 2003-2006. This is Lily’s second season coaching Academy players and her third team with the Strikers Club. Lily enjoys the Academy’s approach to developing individual skills, strong fundamentals, and motivating team dynamics with youth players.
