Strikers Announces New Technical Director: Neil Sedgwick
Missoula Strikers Board of Directors is excited to announce that the club has hired Neil Sedgwick to direct the technical programs for the Striker’s players and coaches. Most soccer players and fans in Missoula know Neil as Head Coach of the University of Montana’s Women’s Soccer Program.
Strikers is very fortunate that Neil expressed an interest in the position in June. The Board worked with Neil over the summer to develop a vision for player and coach development. Neil has presented the club with a Long Term Player Development Model that he expects will ensure player technical development at the highest level. This will be accomplished through a Winter Academy for younger players (U-8 through U-13), training and certifying coaches through Coach Development Courses, and working with the club’s Competition Committee to ensure that coaches and player development programs remain focused on the Development Model.
